The Economics of DPI Conference

On June 28, 2025, GDN and Co-Develop convened a day-long conference on the Economics of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) in New Delhi.

The conference brought together a diverse group of stakeholders from academia, think tanks, government, multilateral institutions, philanthropy, and industry to engage in meaningful dialogue on the future of DPI.

The objective was to lay the foundation for policy-relevant, evidence-based research that can inform the scale-up of DPI globally. The event also marked the beginning of a sustained, Global South-led research agenda on the economics of DPI.
