PUBLIC SPEAKING TRAINER (ENGLISH) - SHORT TERM CONSULTANCY | GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT AWARDS COMPETITION (GDAC)
GDN, through its research communications platform GlobalDev, is seeking a consultant to design and deliver public speaking training for finalists of the Global Development Awards Competition (GDAC), who will present their projects to a jury at the Global Development Conference 2025. The consultant will lead at least one of the two training days (October 26, 2025) in Clermont-Ferrand, France, with possible remote modules beforehand. EVALUATION AND STORYTELLING CONSULTANT - GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT AWARDS COMPETITION (GDAC)
GDN is seeking an Evaluation and Storytelling Consultant to capture the long-term impact of the Global Development Awards Competition (GDAC) through stories and film. The consultant will profile past winners, assess how the awards have shaped their careers, institutions, and communities, and produce compelling impact stories and case studies. Deliverables will include a documentary, short videos, and a written report, alongside strategic recommendations to inform future competitions and partnerships. Given the scale of the assignment, the application and review process will take place in two stages - Concept Note stage and Technical Proposal stage. ASSOCIATE PROGRAMME MANAGER - GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT AWARDS COMPETITION (GDAC)
GDN is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join its Research and Programmes Unit as an Associate Programme Manager. In this role, you will support the planning, execution, and delivery of GDN’s initiatives, with a primary focus on managing the Global Development Awards Competition (GDAC). The position can be home-based or based at the European office of GDN in Clermont-Ferrand, France, in which case GDN will support visa and relocation. Fluency in Japanese is a must.
