Saurabh Modi

Saurabh Modi is a Programme Development Specialist at the Global Development Network. A lawyer with training in economics, he is deeply committed to understanding and strengthening institutions across the Global South. His cross-sectoral research and policy work spans urban governance, climate change, land and capital market regulation, and digital governance.

At GDN, he works on the Digitalisation programme, where he has helped advance a broader research agenda on the Economics of Digital Public Infrastructure.

Before his current role, Saurabh built his career across a number of public policy think tanks, where he explored how laws, markets, and institutions can work better to enable prosperity for individuals.
