Dr. Daniel Fussy joined GDN in October 2018, and is based in Tanzania.
Daniel is also a faculty member at the University of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) through its Constituent College: Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE). He pursued his doctoral studies at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom. Daniel has published widely in top-tier international journals in the following areas of specialization: higher education research and development, research cultures and researcher development, international and comparative education as well as teacher professionalism. Apart from being a faculty member, he has participated in various local and international research projects as principal and assistant consultant/researcher including those commissioned by UKAid – HDIF (Mwanzo Mzuri [Good Start]) Project and UK's ECORYS Polska Application of Learning Outcomes Approaches Across Europe).
