Building Research Centers of Excellence at the Royal University of Bhutan

27 February 2015 | New Delhi

As part of GDN's program, Building Research Capacity in Least Developed Countries, nine Deans of Research and Industrial Linkages at the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) visited the GDN office in New Delhi to discuss their strategy for the development of research centers of excellence in the university colleges. The development of research centers is part of a wider capacity building program designed by the Institute for Gross National Happiness Studies, which aims to develop human resources that can support existing and future research activities at the university. The program’s scientific and technical advisor also met with the Deans and the GDN team to provide guidance on the overall program design and development, its implementation and effectiveness.
