GDN supported the Impulse NGO Network through the Japan Social Development Fund (JSDF) Award to scale up its unique tracking software system to protect and repatriate victims of human tracking, on both sides of the border between India and Myanmar.

Impulse NGO Network’s Case Information Centre Software is an online repository of cases that can be used as a transnational referral mechanism to ensure systematic documentation of human tracking cases.
With the Impulse Case Information Centre Software, case workers, along with the Anti Human Tracking Unit (AHTU) of India and Anti Tracking Task Force (ATTF) of Myanmar now have access to a systematized way of recording evidence.

With the support of the JSDF award, Impulse has successfully replicated its model to strengthen an efficient and effective national and regional response and cooperation for ant-human trafficking in Myanmar, and created a collaborative and sustainable network of stakeholders in the region. The project has developed a strong collaboration between India and Myanmar on cross-border human trafficking, with both governments now having adopted the use of the Impulse NGO Network database system as part of their anti-tracking strategies.
